final visit!

Image
This was my final field study trip! And I noticed many new things. First of all, this was the first time I saw ducks in the pond! That was fun! The water level was also a few inches higher than in the past visits, probably due to the melting of the snow. I saw a flock of birds doing a figure 8 formation in the air and thought that was cool. Also found a softball in the stuff washed up by the banks! I saw some bark that was ripped off a tree, probably done by a muskrat. And lastly I found some beautiful orange mushrooms! I visited the place at 3:43 on November 28. It was about 43 degrees with 58% humidity.

Visit #5!

On Sunday, November at 12:52, I revisited my field study area at Paw Paw Park. I was testing out a new fat tire bike there, and did my field study while I was there. It was snowing when I got there! First snow of the year! The temperature was 32 degrees with 83% humidity. The day length today was 9 hours and 48 minutes. My pictures show how it was snowing! I was so excited! The second picture is showing how there is now even less algae and frogs. In fact, I did not see one frog. I did, however, see a deer running through the woods.
